Resilience Training Centre fighter Ben Sosoli has had 22 pro fights in MMA, Boxing and K1. Ben started combat sports at the age of 11 where he competed in freestyle wrestling until the age of 16. While playing rugby in Australia he had to have a year off due to an injury and moved back to NZ to have 2 surgeries. While recovering he found a local MMA gym (Auckland MMA) and started training again having his first few amateur MMA fights before moving back to Australia and turning pro.
After 3 fights Ben stopped competing in MMA and turned his focus to boxing to improve his stand up game. Ben fought 3 previous Australian champions in the pro ranks, beating 2, before turning his attention back to MMA where he started training at Resilience Training Centre under the guidance of UFC veteran Daniel Kelly. Since moving to Resilience Training Centre Ben is on a 3 fight win streak, the number 1 ranked Heavyweight in NZ and Australia and was also was chosen to fly to Las Vegas to participate in the latest Ultimate Fighter season.
Ben is one of our assistant MMA coaches to our Wimp to Warrior Team and our Pro and Amateur MMA Team. He is also available for boxing and MMA or Fitness Private Lessons.
